Today’s our final day of moving and the house is nearly empty. As you can tell by the late post today, things have been just a tiny bit hectic, and the past week has been spent frantically putting out one metaphorical fire after another. (No actual fires, thank goodness!)
So since there’s been far too much gravity in my world lately, here are a few giggles that lightened me up this week:
And last but not least, here’s what gave me the biggest smile this week. In the throes of moving, there are no Christmas decorations at our house this year… but that didn’t stop Hubby from setting up a “Christmas tree” for us:
This is just one of the many reasons I love him! So as long as we have each other, we’ll have a good Christmas despite the chaos and stress of moving and the absence of the usual trappings.
So to you and your loved ones: Merry Christmas, if you celebrate it; and if not, warm greetings from our family to yours. May you find warmth and love and laughter, now and in the New Year.
(And maybe my next post will be written from beside the ocean! Fingers crossed…)
