…but I’ve been having fun drawing cartoons lately anyway. And I figured, what the heck, why not post them? I don’t know if I have enough time or inspiration to do regular Sunday funnies, but I’ve got a few floating around my computer.
Here’s one for today:
I like your style, Diane! That’s all a cartoonist needs in my book!
I look forward to seeing more.

Brilliant! Love the cartooning; would be great to anticipate one every Sunday! 😃 I read a few every day in the San Fran. Chronicle, but never the Sunday edition because there is too much other content! 📰📰📰
Can’t read the hard news too much anymore, 😁 need smiles not frowns! 😎 ☕ 🍻 (Just figured out emoticons, sorry!!)

Thanks, Sally! Dang, your emoticons didn’t show up. I guess WordPress doesn’t speak the same language as everybody else. But that’s okay, I get what you’re saying – I prefer comics to news any day! 🙂

I can imagine! But my massage therapist tends to hear groans of anguish from me more frequently than intelligible stories. Last week I had to cry ‘Uncle’… 😉

Yes it’s a fine line! Some clients who want / need the knots worked out have used things to bite on – for one client a Reader’s Digest was perfect! Glad you are worked on though with all the writing etc…:)

Your clever use of the appearance of a lack cartooning talent is part of the charm that adds to the humor. 😉

Ah, it was all part of my well-planned marketing strategy. 😉 (But mostly I feared the wrath of real cartoonists. You don’t wanna piss those guys off.)

If you want to be taken serious in this business you need crayons. Just saying, not everything is black ‘n white.

LOL! That is funnier than most I see from “professional” cartoonists. The drawing is equally as good. Seriously. You are obviously a multi talented lady, go for it!
